According to information received by Amnesty International, the Syrian authorities have confirmed the detention of Muhammad Sa'id al-Sakhri and stated that Maysun Lababidi and their four children have been released. However, none of the family's relatives in Syria or abroad has been able to establish contact with them. There are fears that the whole family remains in incommunicado detention.
