Yemen: Further information on fear of torture / legal concern: Mubarak Salih al-Zaydi and others

According to press reports security forces at Aden International Airport arrested a group of Yemeni passengers on 9 August. They were reportedly in possession of leaflets issued by the National Front for the Opposition (MOG). They were also said to be carrying letters addressed to some recently returned former exiles. The addressees are also said to have been arrested. The whereabouts of all these detainees is unknown and there are fears they may be tortured.
