Max Goeldi was released from prison in Libya on Thursday 10 June 2010 and returned to Switzerland on Sunday 13 June.

Max Goeldi served a four month prison sentence and had been the subject of a two year travel ban as a result of a diplomatic row between the two countries.
The move comes days after the start of negotiations between Libya and the European Union about the control of irregular migration, among other issues.
