Amnesty International has just learnt that Teudo Mordán Gerónimo has been released.

Teudo Mordán Gerónimo had been imprisoned in the Penitenciaría Nacional de La Victoria, National Penitentiary of La Victoria, since 24 June 1991, reportedly having been accused of being a guerrilla and of instructing peasants to overthrow the government. In spite of two court orders for his release, the police authorities have persistently had refused to free him.
