The Swedish authorities today, 7 November 1996, granted Zairian asylum-seeker Pauline Muzonzo Paku Kisoki full refugee status under the 1951 UN Convention relating to refugees. The threat of her being forcibly returned to Zaire has therefore been lifted.

No further action by the UA Network is requested. Many thanks to all who sent appeals.
