Rabi’ Ghassan Taraf, aged 29

The death sentences of Rabi’ Ghassan Taraf, a Lebanese national, and Ryan Dominic Mahoney, a Canadian national, have been commuted to life imprisonment.

The men had been sentenced to death in November 1997 after they were convicted on drug charges.

No further action by the UA network is required. Many thanks to all who sent appeals.
