An inmate of Hattieville Prison is reportedly facing 10 lashes with a whip. Such corporal punishment contravenes the Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment to which Belize is party.Estevan Sho has reportedly been sentenced to 10 lashe, after an attempt to escape prison.
