In this response Amnesty International refutes the accusation that AI's work on Colombia is anti-government. The Orgnaization is at a loss to understand clearly why the paper chooses to focus its main criticisms on AI. The Organization has never sought to construct a hard data base nor has it sought to make any detailed quantitative claims. This is not AI's mandate and never has been.
