Binyam Mohamed was released on 26 February 2009, and allowed to return to the UK. An unknown number of detainees, including Lakhdar Boumediene, are still on hunger strike in protest at their indefinite detention, as well as the conditions of detention at the US naval base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Most of them are being force-fed
