On 26 January 2000 Mellanson HARRIS, Marvin JOSEPH, Michael Lorriston CORNWALL, Confessor Valldez FRANCO and Michael MASON received last-minute stays of execution from a court in Antigua and Barbuda. This is to allow them to appeal to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in the United Kingdom.
