Amnesty International is concerned that, in the forthcoming trial of four persons who are charged with various crimes relating to the attack on the Indian parliament on 13 December 2001, international standards for fair trial which India is bound to observe as a state party to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) may be disregarded.
