Amnesty International's report details testimonies from civilians who have fled the Russian military offensive in Chechnya. It appears that Russian forces have carried out indiscriminate attacks or direct attacks on civilians. In addition, Amnesty International has collected testimonies from Chechens and other people from the Caucasus in Moscow who have been subjected to arbitrary detention, torture and ill-treatment in custody, and forcible expulsion by the Russian authorities
