In this document the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia and Amnesty International briefly set out their concerns regarding the draft of the Law of Defence which introduces the possibility of a civilian alternative to military service for conscientious objectors. The concerns centre around the Draft Law's incompatibility with international recommendations and resolutions.
