Eleven men of the Qerkezi family disappeared at the hands of the Serbian police forces in April 1999. Bodies of some of the men were subsequently found in a lake and others exhumed from different locations. The whereabouts of others have never been disclosed to their families. The Serbian authorities have the responsibility to investigate the enforced disappearances in 1999 of ethnic Albanians and others. This case card urges the authorities to investigate the enforced disappearance of the Qerkezi family and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
