This document reports on human rights abuses against ethnic, religious and cultural minorities in Iran. It details the impact of discriminatory practices on the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of the Kurds. It highlights the double oppression suffered by Kurdish women and girls – partly the consequence of attitudes and practices deeply rooted in Kurdish culture, partly the result of the government’s failure to promote and protect the rights of women and Kurds.
