Oman: Further information on: Fear of torture/prisoners of conscience

Three of the named men were sentenced to prison terms, along with 27 other men, on 2 May. Amnesty International believes that many may be prisoners of conscience, held solely for the peaceful expression of their conscientiously held beliefs.
