USA (Texas) Donald Anthony Miller (m), white, aged 44


Donald Miller was executed in Texas on 27 February.


He had been sentenced to death in 1982 for the murder of Michael Mozingo, which had taken place earlier that year. Donald Miller was 19 years old at the time of the crime. He had been on death row for nearly 25 years by the time he was executed.


Donald Miller becomes the seventh person to be put to death in the USA this year, six of whom have been executed in Texas. There have now been 1,064 executions in the USA since judicial killing resumed in 1977. Texas accounts for 385 of these executions.
