Leaders of the Coalition for Improving the Teaching Profession (Concertation pour la revalorisation de la profession d’enseignant, CPRE), a confederation of teachers’ trade unions in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, have called off the strike by teachers. They are no longer being harassed and intimidated by the Congolese authorities.
