A Joint Select Committee (JSC) of the Jamaican Parliament is discussing reforms to the Offences Against the Person Act and the Incest (Punishment) Act. This document is a compilation of international law standards on rape and sexual offences which are considered best practices by the international community. It is aimed at encouraging the Jamaican Parliament to take advantage of the opportunity it has to include the highest standards of international criminal law into national legislation.
