لا يزال المواطن السوداني حمد النيل أبو كساوي محتجزاً دون تهمة أو محاكمة منذ القبض عليه في المدينة المنورة، بالسعودية، في يونيو/حزيران 2004. ولم تسمع عائلته أي شيء عنه حتى فبراير/شباط 2005، عندما أبلغها مواطن سعودي زار سجن المدينة بأن حمد النيل أبو كساوي معتقل هناك.
