Cuba: The situation of human rights in Cuba

This report gives an update on the situation of those prisoners of conscience in Cuba who are still known to be in detention, as well as giving details of those who have been released during 2001. In addition, it documents the systematic harassment of a number of activists perceived as dissidents by the Cuban government. Finally, the report documents a number of key issues around Cuba’s ongoing use of the death sentence.
