This report documents the mass arbitrary arrest and detention of Palestinians that took place between 27 February, following the first incursions by Israeli forces into residential areas in the Occupied Territories, and 20 May 2002, and describes the pattern of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment of those held in custody.
